101 Things in 1001 Days

I'd like to think I am constantly expanding and evolving. Trying new things. Focusing on what's important in life. Not getting caught up in the mundane and the easy and the boring. Challenging myself.
Good luck and Hard work go hand in merry hand.


Here 101 items I'd like to get moving on in the next 1001 days . . .


CAREER & EDUCATION:
1. Get funding for Sip Snap Savor and go out on the road and meet new people and find new recipes
2. Publish a cookbook
3. Develop portfolio of professional work
4. Write for a magazine, even just one article

FINANCIAL:
5. Merge all my old 401K's together
6. Start a Retirement Fund
7. Deposit $50.00 into savings account every pay check
8. Show my family I am completely independent and free, from ever asking them for money again.

HEATLH & WELLNESS:
9. Stop yo-yo dieting and just eat healthily and wisely
10. Learn how to maintain a steady, good-for-me weight
11. Not be an emotional eater
12. Attend dance class twice a week
13. Get a facial
14. Take better care of my skin and body
15. Finally appreciate and love who I am and what I look like

TRAVEL:
16. See a lion run its fastest in Africa
17. Start keeping in touch with my Argentine pen pal
18. See the beauty in my everyday life, without having to go SOMEWHERE to see beauty
19. Jump naked into a fountain
20. Start taking more pictures on my journeys through life
21. Go on an unplanned road trip somewhere I've never been
22. Work a wine harvest in a foreign country
23. Drive the Autumn Leaves route in Vermont
24. Pack a picnic and enjoy it in the country with someone I love
25. Dance in Rio De Janeiro
26. Make a better effort to go see the people I love in life (Grandparents, Friends in other states, etc)

ADVENTURE:
27. Burning Man
28. Go hot air ballooning
29. Hang upside down with no hands
30. Make split second spontaneous decisions
31. Go down a zip line
32. Outdoor shower during sunset
33. Stand at the top of a ladder, just because I can
34. Go kayaking in the ocean
35. Have someone plan an entire day for me and have no control over what happens
36. Skateboard

LEISURE:
37. Learn to make Jam
38. Sleep in every Sunday for a month, with someone I love
39. Sit outside for an entire day: reading, thinking, being
40. Learn to truly relax and waste time doing nothing
41. Fertilize my garden and really plant an assortment of things seasonally (even start my own seeds)
42. Dance every day for the next 1001 days

CREATIVE:
43. Make a family calendar for Christmas
44. Concoct my own hummingbird feed and feeders
45. Make a music video
46. Write a book that inspires me and doesn't hurt anyone else
47. Continuously strive to inspire others, which in turn inspires me
48. Fly to New York and hit galleries instead of restaurants and bars
49. Compose a beautiful love letter, to my mother
50. Pick a magnolia (I've always wanted one) and press it in an old book
51. Give up online shopping and spend that time creating recipes
52. Find the color lightbulb that makes my body look it's most sexy
53. Photograph 101 pairs of feet touching and make a collage (I think when people touch feet it means they really love each other)
54. Make a giant sandcastle sculpture
55. MAke a chandelier in my ceramics class

PERSONAL:

56. Earn my PhD, in some really random, remote field of study.
57. Never be bitter or hateful but instead continue to let love shine through, no matter how scary that is . . .
58. Pray more
59. Be friends with as many people as I can, as deeply and honestly as possible. I heart people.
60. Learn to be self-reliant in all areas
61. Not set time limits on milestones and accomplishments, but let things happen organically
62. Bake more apple pies to set in the window sill
63. Compliment people, like my friend Sarah, she really makes people feel good about themselves.
64. Let past mistakes stay in the past, and press on towards a greater future

MISC.
65. Realize that not everything is my fault, and somethings belong to other people.
66. Stop spending money on frivolous items that mean nothing
67. Cloud watch, more often
68. Make amends with (boring) downtime
69. Buy a new Dreams book, and start figuring out what my dreams mean.
70. Find someone weirder than I am, to entertain me and inspire me.
71. Eat more fruit
72. Master Photoshop and InDesign
73. Manage my own website
74. Buy a House
75. Adopt a Baby (what is better than giving life to yourself and to someone who needs a fresh start?)
76. Listen

79. Go to hear more live music, one show a month
80. Take drum lessons
81. Speak less and take in more, visually
82. Make my own pasta at home
83. Encourage others in all their endeavors, everyone needs a personal cheerleader
84. Spend as much time with my grandfather as I possibly can. As much TIME.
85. Live in New York, one more time
86. Spend a few weeks in Spain taking pictures of people and writing observations.
87. Buy a new digital SLR
88. Stop lecturing other people on things I consider stupid, and instead let everyone make their own mistakes and TRUMPHS!
89. Clean my fridge out, once a month
90. Buy new RED bedding
91. Make peace with my father
92. Make peace with my soul
93. Stop taking xanax
94. Buy green tall boots
95. Get my bunion fixed, its time (yuk!)
96. Channel my emotions and cry less
97. Realize the positivity in NOT getting my way
98. Save up 10 Grand to see if I can
99. Absolve credit card debt
